Red Rock Park, Gallup, NM

From the Petrified Forest and the Painted desert national Park, we headed to the city of Gallup, NM, where we stayed at this former State Park, now administered by the city of Gallup. It is the home of many rodeo competitions and has excellent facilities to host such events.  It was very quiet during our stay, there being no scheduled events.

We were entertained by the many gophers and their antics.
